At the moment, our vines are in the process of efflorescence, or simply in bloom. Flowering is a beautiful moment in our vineyards when dozens of flowers open one by one on the bunches. It is also one of the most sensitive and crucial periods in the life of a vine, as the flowers are delicate and exposed to all the elements. Within weeks, the flower petals will drop off, to be replaced by tiny green spherical fruit that, with a few months of proper care and weather, will develop into those luscious, plump grape bunches that we love. With harvest 2023 on the horizon, our winemaking team waits with bated breath for a gentle spring season to bring our grapes to fruition.
