On a brisk night in 1983, Graham Beck stood under the night sky in Robertson and had a starry-eyed dream to produce South Africa’s finest bottle-fermented sparkling wine.

What started as an evening glance up into the night sky turned into the first vintage produced under the stars while the cellar was still being completed in 1991. Today, we continue this stellar legacy by harvesting under the moonlight and handpicking our grapes in the cool of the night.

Four decades later, the House of Graham Beck has firmly established itself as one of the world’s leading Cap Classique producers with our founder’s legacy living on in every bottle we meticulously craft in our pursuit of the perfect bubble.
